Your format on this assignment was great, it was easy to understand and follow. I find it interesting that you kept the theme of Hurricane Harvey as your local opportunities. However, you were supposed to use only local newspapers and I don't think infoweb.newsbank.com counts. Our professor explains this in the video describing this assignment, check it out!
ReplyDeleteVery good post. All this hurricane news are really interesting. Hurricane Harvey hit really bad but I am glad that they are recovering and hopefully people over there are going to be back on their feet soon. Flooding was really impressive, I can't imagine what 25 inches of rain look like. Very interesting to read your post.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your post. You did a good job of connecting all the hurricane related stories in the news to those who have the issues. The flooding that has taken place over all the country is so crazy to think about. I liked what you stated about the first article and how Harvey affects more than just Houston. It's so true. For instance, Houston is home to many domestic oil refineries and, with them being closed, gas prices could very well go up in the coming months.
ReplyDeleteHey Josh, I appreciate how you kept your articles tied to the recent hurricane since they have impacted so many of us. It is crazy to see all the damage that it has done, but the reaction from the world has been nothing short of amazing. You did a really good job describing the stories and breaking down the problems with them. Your assignment was easy to read and extremely informative. Great job!
